Instructions to authors
Contributors are kindly asked to submit two copies of their manuscripts, typed using Romanian characters, double-spaced, accompanied by a short abstract in both Romanian and English (one page maximum) and a short presentation of the author/authors containing the (academic) title/titles, the institutions he/they are affiliated to, his/their domains of interest.
The authors are kindly asked to select 4-6 key words which define the articles domain of interest.
The manuscripts also ought to be submitted via email, (preferably) as Word files, without using styles (simple text), with graphics and maps as .jpeg or .tiff files.
Manuscript preparation:
- The text should be no longer than 20 pages
- The different parts of the chapters should not be numbered
- Font: Times New Roman, Size 12
- Tables and graphics will be numbered and receive a title
- References should be cited in the text according to the model (author, year, page). In the reference list the book and journal titles should be marked with italics, while the titles of articles will be written using the normal font
Studies in English or French, which are relevant to the target audience, are also accepted.
Only original, unpublished studies are accepted.
The partial or complete reproduction of the articles is forbidden without the written permission of the Editorial Board.
Review process
Every article received is reviewed by two reviewers, using a double-blind peer review system. The two are suggested by the Editorial Board in accord with the domain of the analysis. The reviewers are sociologist with diverse expertise and national or international acknowledged proficiency. After receiving the reviews, the Editorial Board will forward them to the authors respecting the anonymous character of the reviewing process, so that, in case the article is in principle accepted, the authors are able to sent a revised version. The article is printed after the reviewers and the Editorial Board confirm accepting it.
